We've enjoyed meeting so many of you at summer orientation and cannot wait to welcome you back in August to your new HOME.
Knights First Day of Service is a program designed for new transfer and first-year students who will begin their studies at Geneseo in the fall. Knights First Day of Service is a volunteer effort that gives you the opportunity to give back to Geneseo and the surrounding community while meeting and working with other new students. Students spend a Saturday morning in September at locations around Livingston County, helping people out in need--it could be painting a barn, cleaning up a trail in Letchworth State Park, serving a senior citizen, or organizing books at the library. We'll identify a project for you and you'll make new friends!
Sign up today to join your classmates on Saturday, September 7, 2013 at locations around Livingston County. The program will run from 9:00am to 2:00pm and a luncheon will be provided. Space is limited, so sign up today by visiting http://go.geneseo.edu/knightservice

Ashley, pictured on left, says "When I was accepted to Geneseo, I reacted how most students do: I became obsessed with the school. I became fascinated with the infinite opportunities that would soon find their way to me. I left no stone unturned while searching the school's website and soaked in as much information as I could. I soon stumbled upon Knightlink and it was exactly what I needed as an incoming student. I discovered incredible organizations and opportunities before ever stepping foot on campus! I was able to arrive in the fall of my freshman year with an idea of what I wanted to join. It's great that there is a service like KnightLink that can help the transition to college."
We encourage you to explore KnightLink, join the fun, and get connected! knightlink.geneseo.edu, don't miss out!

Need a Car on Campus? Use One of Ours!
Don’t be left stranded – Hertz on Demand offers qualified drivers at Geneseo ages 18 and older vehicles by the hour or day. CAS has partnered with Hertz to bring this program to campus. SUNY Geneseo has two vehicles – a Jeep Patriot and a Chevy Cruze – with reserved parking in
the College Union Circle. Starting rates of $8 an hour or $62 per day (which includes gas and insurance) make this an unbelievable value. Learn more and apply for a free membership online: http://www.hertzondemand.com/geneseo/en-us/home
