The Off-Campus Housing Registry service is provided free of charge to SUNY Geneseo students, faculty, and staff who are interested in off-campus living in the local community. Landlords and Rental Agents who desire to advertise their units or rooms to students, faculty, and staff contract with the service provider to include their rental information on the website. Please note: current students who are Freshmen or Sophomores must satisfy their two year residency requirement as explained in the residence license or be released from their housing contract prior to moving off-campus.
Students, Faculty, and Professional Staff: Click on the "Housing and Roommate Search" button above to find off-campus housing and roommates. Access to the listings is restricted to currently enrolled students and active faculty and professional staff.
Landlords and Rental Agents: Click on the "Post Your Rental" button above to post, modify, or remove your rental information. This service is provided by a contractor who charges a small fee. A portion of that fee is a donation to SUNY Geneseo. For questions about listings or payments please do not call our office, contact the service provider.
Current Students, Faculty and Staff
You must use your SUNY Geneseo email address (ending in "geneseo.edu ") as your login. Please follow the instructions on the Login page to receive a new password by email. This password is different than the one you use for your email account. Once you are logged in, you will be able to search current off-campus housing listings and connect with other students who are seeking roommates. If you don't find what you are looking for you can register your search in the Waiting List to be notified by email when new rentals are posted. Further instructions for more detailed oriented searches can be found by clicking the "User's Guide" menu button once you are logged in.
New Students, Faculty and Staff without a SUNY Geneseo email account
Students who have been accepted to SUNY Geneseo and prospective faculty and staff members can review the current rental market by clicking on the "List your rental" button above and then selecting "View Rental List" from The Housing Registry menu. Students who are enrolled and newly hired faculty and staff who are unable to obtain a SUNY Geneseo email account can request temporary access to the off-campus housing search by filling out completely a Temporary Password Request form.
