GENESEO, N.Y. – SUNY Geneseo students and alumni will be featured in multiple performances Sept. 28 during the Rochester Fringe Festival.
Geneseo Bhangra, a competitive Indian dance team on campus, will perform at the Rochester Association of Performing Arts (RAPA), 727 E. Main St., at 3:15 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
A cast composed of present and graduated SUNY Geneseo musical theater majors will perform in the musical revue “Starting Here, Starting Now” at the Blackfriars Theatre at 8 p.m. Admission to the show is $11.
Geneseo alumni and friends are also invited to register for a group dinner hosted by Geneseo’s Office of Alumni Affairs at Bamba Bistro, 282 Alexander St. at 6 p.m. The cost is $25 and pre-registration is required either online or by calling 585-245-5506.
This year’s Rochester Fringe Festival will run for two consecutive weekends, starting Sept. 19. SUNY Geneseo is a Fringe Festival sponsor and also is sponsoring three festival performances.
