GENESEO,
N.Y. – SUNY Chancellor Nancy Zimpher has scheduled a
get-acquainted visit to the Geneseo campus July

leaders and other stakeholders on the future of New York’s public higher
education system.
The
news media are welcome to accompany the chancellor from 10 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.
in Room 147 of the Integrated Science Center as she visits a session of the
Young Scholars Academy, a camp for 60 Rochester middle school students operated
through a partnership between Geneseo and Rochester
City Schools. She also will hear a presentation on undergraduate research
in the Pelletron particle accelerator lab in Room 127
of the Integrated Science Center, which you are welcome to observe. At
10:50 a.m., she will be available for media interviews outside the accelerator
lab in Room 140.
