THURSDAY, OCTOBER
25:
MILNE LIBRARY: The Corporate and Business Partners of SUNY Geneseo are sponsoring the Heavens
Above exhibit, a series of
transparencies and interactive media from deep space captured by the Hubble
Space Telescope while orbiting the earth over the past 16 years. The exhibit will be on display from
August 27 to December 17. For more

LEDERER GALLERY: School of the Arts and the Bertha V.B. Lederer Gallery in Brodie Hall,
present Roland Freeman's "Mule Train: A Journey of Hope Remembered". The
gallery is open noon-4 p.m. Sundays–Wednesdays and 5-8 p.m.
Thursdays-Saturdays. The exhibit

LOCKHART GALLERY: School of the Arts and the Lockhart Gallery, located
in the McClellan House, 26 Main St., Geneseo presents Roland Freeman's "Some
Things of Value: African American Expressive Culture". The exhibit runs through
Saturday, November 17. The gallery is open noon-4 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays and

FILM SERIES: The Alan Lutkus International Film Series will
present "Amarcord" (I Remember) at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 in 204 Newton Hall.
The movie is an affectionate, nostalgic, hilarious, and typically Felliniesque
coming of age story set in a small Italian town sometime before World War
II. In Italian with English
subtitles. Discussant: Dr. Carlo
Filice, Philosophy. The film is free and open to the general public. (Federico Fellini, Italy, 1973: 127
minutes.)
