THURSDAY, FEBRUARY
14:
LOCKHART GALLERY: The Lockhart Gallery, located in the McClellan House,
26 Main St., Geneseo, presents More Than a Book: Imagination, Tools, Creation
featuring artists books from the Experimental Printmaking Institute, Lafayette
College. Guest curator will be
MaryAnn Miller. The exhibit runs through Saturday, Feb. 16 and is free and open
to the public. Gallery hours are
noon-4 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays and noon-8 p.m. Thursdays.
LEDERER GALLERY: The School of the Arts and Bertha V.B. Lederer Gallery in Brodie Hall
will present Within Our Gates: Site and Memory in the American Landscape, an
exhibition of paintings by Keith Morris Washington that probe American history
by memorializing sites where lynchings occurred. The exhibit runs through
February 22. Gallery hours are
noon-4 p.m. Mondays–Thursdays and 12-6 p.m. Fridays-Saturdays. The event is free and open to the

PLAY: VegSOUP presents "Incorruptible" by Michael Hollinger. Directed by
Amanda Serianni. The play begins at 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 14, and Saturday,
Feb. 16 in Robert Sinclair Theatre in Brodie Hall. Friday, February 15
performances will be at 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. General admission is $5. Tickets may be purchased at

LIVE GREEN EXPO: From Noon to 3 p.m. there
will be displays and demonstrations by college and community organizations,
businesses and individuals working on green initiatives. From 4-6 p.m., there will be a
forum called "The Energy Problem: Choices for an Uncertain Future." Geneseo is participating in one of the
National Issues Forum's Deliberative Dialogues on the environment. The specific focus of this dialogue is
centered on energy. Discussions
will be held about the choices we are facing as a nation with our dependence on
foreign energy, fossil fuels and our appetite for increased energy. At 7 p.m., Live Green speaker,
Debra Rowe, Ph.D., President U.S. Partnership for Education for Sustainable
Development and Co-Chair Higher Education Associations Sustainability
Consortium will present "The Triple Bottom Line of Sustainability: Healthier
Economies, Vibrant Ecosystems, Social Justice.
