SUNY Geneseo's New Alumni Convocation and
141st Commencement this Friday and Saturday
WHAT: The State University of New York at Geneseo will confer approximately 1,140 undergraduate degrees and 35 graduate degrees at its 141st Commencement ceremony this Saturday, May 12.
The Class of 2007 will participate in the New Alumni Convocation at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 11, immediately following Commencement rehearsal. At 3 p.m., seniors and their guests will proceed to the Mary Jemison Dining Center for a champagne reception.
WHO: Convocation Orator Sean Cogliardi '07, a political science major from Milan, Italy, will deliver the Convocation address. New York State Lt. Gov. David A. Paterson will deliver the Commencement address. Holly Klopchin, an international relations major from Goshen, N.Y., will deliver the senior orator speech.
WHEN: Convocation: 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 11. Commencement: 10 a.m. Saturday, May 12.
WHERE: New Alumni Convocation and Commencement will take place on the site of the "B" parking lot on campus, adjacent to South Hall, just off of Park Street/College Drive between Main Street and Route 63 on the SUNY Geneseo campus.
