SUNY Geneseo calendar of events for Feb. 9-15
THURSDAY, FEB. 9:
LEDERER GALLERY EXHIBIT: The Bertha V.B. Lederer Gallery, in Brodie
Hall, presents an exhibit by Elmira College Art Faculty. The gallery is open
daily from 2-4:30 p.m. and Thursdays 12-8 p.m. Free and open to the public. The
exhibit runs through Friday, Feb. 24.
LOCKHART GALLERY EXHIBIT: The Lockhart Gallery, located in the
McClellan House, presents "Elements of Reality" by artist Yolanda Daliz. The
gallery is open daily from 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and Fridays 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Free
and open to the public. The exhibit runs through Friday, Feb. 17.
PERFORMANCE: The
Limelight & Accents Performing Arts Series presents Len Cabral. Cabral is
an acclaimed, award-winning storyteller and author who has been enchanting
audiences with his unique, personable style in communities throughout the
United States and Canada for more than 25 years. Incorporating traditional
storytelling devices such as mime, poetry, song, humor and vivid
characterizations, Cabral is a popular storyteller at festivals and theaters.
This family-oriented show is a great opportunity to get a taste of history and
pay tribute to the power of imagination. 7 p.m., MacVittie College Union
Ballroom. Tickets are free, but reservations required, for Geneseo students,

PLAY: The School of
the Arts and Veg. S.O.U.P. present Dr. Hero by Israel Horovitz. The play is
