SUNY Geneseo calendar of events for Jan. 26-Feb. 1

THURSDAY, JAN. 26:

LOCKHART GALLERY EXHIBIT: The Lockhart Gallery, located in the McClellan House, presents "Elements of Reality" by artist Yolanda Daliz. There will be an opening reception on Friday, Jan. 27 from 6-8 p.m. The gallery is open daily from 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. and Fridays 11:30 a.m.-8 p.m. Free and open to the public. The exhibit runs through Friday, Feb. 17.

PERFORMANCE: The School of the Arts' student ensemble presents a semi-staged production of "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street." 7 p.m., Robert Sinclair Theatre, Brodie Hall. Tickets are $5 and may be purchased at the Brodie Box Office (245-5833).

FRIDAY, JAN. 27:

LOCKHART GALLERY EXHIBIT: (See Thursday, Jan. 26). Opening reception from 6-8 p.m.

PERFORMANCE: (See Thursday, Jan. 26).

SPORTS: Women's and Men's Basketball vs. Cortland. 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. respectively, Kuhl Gymnasium, Merritt Athletic Center. Admission at the door is $5 for adults, $3 for non-SUNY Geneseo students, and free for SUNY Geneseo students.

SATURDAY, JAN. 28:

LEDERER GALLERY EXHIBIT: The Bertha V.B. Lederer Gallery, in Brodie Hall, presents an exhibit by Elmira College Art Faculty. There will be an opening reception from 7-9 p.m. The gallery is open daily from 2-4:30 p.m. and Thursdays 12-8 p.m. Free and open to the public. The exhibit runs through Friday, Feb. 24.
