Who are we and how did we get here?

Dr. Rao started at Geneseo in January 2008. She worked in the SUNY System at the community college level, working for Genesee Community College and Monroe Community College before joining Geneseo. Dr. Rao worked in market research before coming to higher education. She enjoys knitting, reading, antiques and her family in her spare time, although not necessarily in that order.

Ms. Tierney is a 2007 graduate of SUNY Geneseo, where she majored in psychology.  Before coming to Geneseo for this position, Katie worked at Canisius College in Buffalo where she completed her MBA.

Nancy Becerra-Cordoba, Ph.D.

Dr. Becerra-Cordoba loves working with numbers to unveil patterns that can guide our decision-making. She has a background in Environmental Engineering, Operations Research applied to Environmental Policy, and Stochastic Statistics applied to Urban Planning. Nancy BC is an alumni from Virginia Tech, The Johns Hopkins University, and The Instituto Politécnico Nacional. She enjoys performing arts, pets, yoga, and the South Wedge’s community garden.

As a first year student, Mr. Williams is new in September to the Institutional Research office. He is an International Relations major with a wide range of interests including, but not limited to, tennis, economics, and sleeping in.
