New Internships and Other Opportunities

SUNY Geneseo Pre-Law is offering scholarships for pre-law students who are entering their junior or senior year. Two scholarships are available, one for $500 to help defray costs of applying to law school and one scholarship for $1,000. If you would like to apply for both scholarships, two separate applications should be made. More information regarding the scholarships and how to apply can be found here.
Deadline: April 21, 2015.

Greater Buffalo Society of Professional Journalists is offering a scholarship opportunity for college juniors or seniors, graduate students, or working journalists committed to a career in journalism. Applicants must express competence in writing, broadcasting, or related journalistic skills, as well as provide evidence of financial need and a letter of recommendation in the student's field of major interest. Merit is hiring students for its Campus Relations Associate position, which is an internship or job involved in sales. This position is located in Albany, NY and is full-time. Excellus BlueCross BlueShield is looking for both general communications and corporate communications interns. Both positions are PAID INTERNSHIPS running from June 1 to August 7, 2015. These are full-time positions located in Rochester, NY; housing and parking are not included.
