Concessions will be available starting at 7:00am and will continue throughout the day for each ceremony. The concession stand will be outside of Merritt Athletic Facility. Hot and cold beverages, snacks, and hot lunch items will be available.
Receptions for graduates, parents, and guests are sponsored by Campus Auxiliary Services and hosted by Academic Departments. They will be held immediately following each Commencement Ceremony. Light refreshments are served.

Geography: Reception in the College Gazebo (rain location: The Knight Spot)
Computer Science: Reception in the South Hall 3rd Floor Atrium.
Anthropology, Black Studies, History and Psychology: Reception in the Mary Jemison Dining Facility.
Sociology: Reception in the College Gazebo (rain location: Sturges Auditorium)
American Studies, English, French, Spanish, Philosophy, International Relations and Political Science: Reception in the MacVittie College Union Ballroom
BIochemistry, Biology, Biophysics: Reception in the Milne Library (Main Floor).
Chemistry and Geochemistry: Reception in the 1st Floor of the ISC (formerly the Greene Lounge Area).
Geological Sciences: Reception in 1st Floor of the ISC (formerly the Greene Lounge Area).
Please note: the Physics Department hosts a gathering for their graduates and their families prior to the afternoon ceremony in the Physics area of the ISC.
Accounting, Business Adminstration, and Economics: Reception in the MacVittie College Union Ballroom.
School of Education(all majors): Reception will be in Mary Jemison Dining Facility.
Mathematics: Reception will be in the Knight Spot, located in Blake A.
Communicative Disorders and Sciences: Reception will be in the Sturges Auditorium.
A detailed map of reception locations will be included in the Commencement Program. This will allow gradautes to meet and greet with faculty from their academic areas.
Students and guests are encouraged to attend the reception in the location assigned to the academic area of the graduates' degree.
