Winter Break Alumni/Parent Shadow Program

The SUNY Geneseo Winter Break Alumni/Parent Shadow Program offers first and second-year Geneseo students the opportunity to shadow (observe) a Geneseo alumnus and/or parent in the workplace for part of a day, a full day, or multiple days during the week of January 14-18, 2013. 

The student shadow will visit the host’s workplace, discuss his/her career path and job responsibilities, and generally observe the host during a typical workday.  It is possible that not every alumni/parent volunteer will be successfully matched with a student shadow as matching will be determined by participating students’ geographic needs and career preferences. Alumni/parent volunteers who are matched with a student shadow will be notified of that match.
