The Geneseo women's field hockey team traveled to Hamilton College this afternoon and fell to the Continentals by a score of 4-1. Hamilton broke a scoreless game at 18:55 and took a 2-0 lead into the intermission with a goal at 23:53. Geneseo briefly got back into the game in the second half as sophomore Kerry Hosford fed classmate Kayla DeAngelis (pictured left) for her 10th goal of the year at 37:41. Hamilton reclaimed the two-goal advantage just 5:30 later and added an insurance score with 3:03 remaining. Junior Nicole Zito made one save as the Blue Knights fall to 7-6 on the season. Geneseo resumes their SUNYAC schedule by travelling to New Paltz on Friday.
