The visiting Clarkson Golden Knights netted three goals in the fourth quarter, including the game-winner with 24 seconds left, and held the Geneseo men's lacrosse team scoreless in the final frame to register a come-from-behind 8-7 win on the Merritt Field this afternoon. The Blue Knights led 2-1 after one, 5-3 at intermission and maintained a two-goal lead at 7-5 after three. Senior Jeff Watson, junior Tim Burgess and first year John Wettack scored a goal and an assist, first year Steven Cregan handed out two helpers and Steve Aziz, Tim Hayden, Brendan Kurpis and James Purpura scored one goal each for the Blue Knights. Junior Frank DiSanti won 9-17 faceoffs for Geneseo and junior Michael Greubel stopped 12 shots in taking the hard-luck loss. Geneseo falls to 0-4 on the season and hosts the St. John Fisher Cardinals on Wednesday, March 28.
