Plattsburgh, N.Y. – The #12/14 Geneseo ice hockey team (15-7-1,
10-3-1 SUNYAC) dropped a 6-1 decision at #11/9 Plattsburgh (15-6-1, 10-2-1
SUNYAC) Friday in State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC)
action.
The game snapped a streak of 14 straight Geneseo opponents who’d been held to
three goals or fewer.
The Knights, who had averaged 36 shots per game coming into the contest, were
held to 17 shots including just five in the third period.
First year forward AJ Sgaraglio (Hicksville/NY Bobcats) scored Geneseo’s goal,
converting a pass from first year forward Brent Bisdee (Ottawa, Ont./Kanata
Stallions) 10:06 into the opening period to tie the score at 1-1.
Sophomore Bryan Haude (Hilton/Hartford Wolfpack) made 32 saves for Geneseo.
The Knights continue their weekend road trip with a 7 p.m. at Potsdam Saturday.
