Access is the relational database management system included in Microsoft Office. It provides Managers with a tool to work with their data that is more powerful than Excel but less so than enterprise systems. It is a very agile platform and can be used to work with data from a variety of sources, including commercial applications or State systems. Although more complex than other applications in Microsoft’s Office suite, MS Access can be learned by most office users and put to good use relatively quickly.
Administrative Systems assists Administration & Finances departments with MS Access training, report writing and customized application development. We also serve as an MS Access resource to other departments here on Geneseo’s campus.
